Spiritual and metaphysical principles believed to govern reality, consciousness, and personal growth — rooted in ancient wisdom, Hermetic philosophy, and the New Thought tradition
These laws are not commandments — they are observations. Ancient cultures across every tradition noticed the same patterns repeating across the cosmos, through nature, and within the human soul. The metaphysical systems Miri-am works with — Chinese BaZi, Western Astrology, Human Design, the Cards — each illuminate these laws from their own unique angle. To know thyself is to know the laws.
Law of Divine Oneness
Everything is interconnected. All beings, energy, and matter are part of a unified whole. There is no true separation — only varying degrees of apparent distinction.
Implication: Your thoughts and actions ripple outward and affect the universe and all beings within it.
Law of Vibration
Everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency — including thoughts, emotions, matter, and sound. Nothing is truly at rest; all is in constant motion and oscillation.
Implication: Raise your vibration through positivity, love, and gratitude to attract experiences of a higher frequency.
Law of Correspondence
"As above, so below; as within, so without." The same patterns repeat across all scales of existence — from the cosmos to the cell, from the heavens to the human body. The macrocosm mirrors the microcosm.
Implication: Your external reality mirrors your internal state. Change within creates change without.
Law of Attraction
Like attracts like. Your dominant thoughts, emotions, and beliefs act as a magnetic signal, drawing experiences, people, and circumstances that resonate with their frequency.
Implication: Focus intentionally on what you genuinely desire, not on what you fear. The field does not distinguish between the two.
Law of Inspired Action
Manifestation requires more than thought — it requires purposeful, inspired movement. Aligning with opportunity and taking grounded steps in the direction of your intentions is essential.
Implication: Dreams need both inner alignment and outer action to materialize. Vision without movement is only potential.
Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
Energy is in constant flux and transformation. Lower frequencies of energy (fear, doubt, grief) can always be transmuted into higher frequencies (love, clarity, courage) — nothing is fixed or permanent.
Implication: You always have the capacity to shift your energy. The Five Elements teach us this: every element contains the seed of transformation.
Law of Cause and Effect · Karma
Every action generates a consequence. Every thought, word, and deed sends out a wave of energy that eventually returns — not as punishment, but as perfect feedback from the universe.
Implication: Act with integrity and full presence. What you put into the world is the very substance of what returns to you.
Law of Compensation
Your blessings, challenges, and resources are reflections of your contributions, efforts, and the energy you have circulated. The universe keeps exquisite accounts — not in punishment, but in balance.
Implication: Genuine generosity and sustained diligence are always rewarded — often in ways and at times we do not expect.
Law of Relativity
Challenges, conditions, and experiences are inherently neutral. Their weight, meaning, and impact are determined entirely by the perspective and context from which they are viewed.
Implication: Every hardship is a growth opportunity in disguise. The same event can be a prison or a school, depending on where you stand.
Law of Polarity
Everything has an opposite — light and dark, joy and sadness, contraction and expansion. These opposites are not enemies; they are two ends of the same spectrum, defining and completing one another.
Implication: Rather than fighting what appears negative, seek the complementary perspective. Yin and Yang are inseparable — each contains the seed of the other.
Law of Rhythm
Life moves in cycles and rhythms — tides in and tides out, seasons turning, breath expanding and releasing. There are natural ebbs and flows to all things, and no high or low lasts forever.
Implication: Trust your seasons. The Luck Pillars of BaZi, the Solar Return, the Cards of the Year — all are maps of this law in motion. Difficult phases will pass; abundant phases will return.
Law of Gender
Masculine and feminine energies — Yang and Yin — exist within all things in the universe, not merely in human beings. Creation itself requires the interplay of both: the initiating and the receptive, the outward and the inward, logic and intuition.
Implication: Balance both energies within yourself for full creative power and harmony. The Ten Heavenly Stems each carry this polarity — Yang and Yin within every element.
Bonus · Law of Grace
Divine love and forgiveness are forces that transcend karma itself. When we embrace surrender — releasing the need to control, to be right, to hold grievance — grace becomes available. It does not erase consequences; it transmutes them.
Implication: The deepest healing comes not from understanding alone, but from surrender. This is the law that lives beneath all the others.
天人合一
"Heaven and humanity are one." — The ancient Chinese understanding of the Laws of the Universe expressed in four characters. The work of metaphysics is to bridge what appears separate and remember what has always been whole.
