Your Energetic Operating System

Human Design is a synthesis of ancient wisdom and modern science — weaving together the I Ching, the Kabbalah's Tree of Life, the Hindu Chakra system, Western astrology, and quantum physics into a single unified map of the individual. It was introduced in 1987 and has since become one of the most practically useful self-knowledge systems available.

Where other systems describe who you are, Human Design describes how you work — the mechanics of your energy, the correct way for you to make decisions, and the specific conditioning patterns that may be causing you to live as someone you are not. Miri encountered Human Design in 2024 and was immediately struck by how it complements and deepens every other system she has studied.

The Five Types

There are five energetic Types in Human Design, each with a distinct aura, role, and strategy:

• Manifestors — Initiators. Here to act independently and inform others. Rare (~9% of population).
• Generators — Life force. Here to respond and find sustainable work they love. The backbone of humanity (~37%).
• Manifesting Generators — Multi-passionate responders. Fast-moving, here to find the most efficient path (~33%).
• Projectors — Guides. Here to see deeply into others and be invited to share their gifts (~21%).
• Reflectors — Mirrors. Here to reflect the health of their community. Lunar beings (~1%).

Strategy & Authority

Every Type has a Strategy — the correct way to engage with life so that decisions unfold in alignment rather than resistance. And every individual has an Authority — the specific inner signal that, when followed, guides them to correct choices. These two keys together are the practical heart of Human Design: simple to understand, transformative to live.

• Sacral Authority — the gut's yes/no response, felt in the body
• Emotional Authority — clarity that comes only after riding the emotional wave
• Splenic Authority — the quiet instinctive knowing in the moment
• Ego / Heart Authority — what the heart genuinely wants and can commit to
• Self-Projected Authority — truth discovered by talking it through
• Mental / Outer Authority — clarity through sounding board conversations
• Lunar Authority (Reflectors only) — waiting a full lunar cycle before deciding

Profile, Centers & Channels

Beyond Type and Authority, your Human Design chart contains a rich constellation of information: your Profile (a two-line description of your archetypal life role), nine Centers (each defined or undefined, shaping how you take in and process energy), and Channels and Gates (specific circuits of energy that describe your consistent gifts and themes). Miri reads all of these layers in relationship, building a complete picture of your energetic blueprint.
