Miri-am first encountered this system around 1995 — though it wasn't until 2012, when teacher and scholar Ernst Wilhelm lectured on the subject, that she truly began to understand it. The system is commonly known as Egyptian Astrology, Cards of Destiny, or the Magi Cards, but Wilhelm's chosen name — Spirit & Nature's Time — best captures what it is: spirit and nature speaking through time itself, with startling precision. Not metaphor, but a living, mathematical map.
The ordinary deck of 52 playing cards is one of the most ancient metaphysical systems still in daily use: 52 cards for 52 weeks, 4 suits for 4 seasons, 13 values for 13 lunar cycles, and a total pip count that equals 365 — the days of the solar year — encoding a complete system of soul-mapping, time-tracking, and destiny reading.
A note on birth time
An accurate birth time is vital to this system. Someone born before sunrise carries the card of the previous day, not the calendar day of birth. Chart Rectification is highly recommended first if your birth time is uncertain.
